A six-channel cassette-delay system designed for live performance. Constantly recording it reproduces, distresses, disperses and decays all the sounds played into it. The contant feedback conjures room tones from nothing. Performance becoming a dialogue between its unflinching repetition and my own attempts to control it. The sound here is a January 2010 studio recording using a contact microphone to amplify the machine itself and a dynamic mic. placed inside a hollow glass lamp-base, the footage is from a gig two weeks later in York using the same setup.
