Sound is recorded onto the tape at the top and moves off clockwise playing back on each of the other six decks, a collection of dismantled old walkmans and ghetto blasters, each of which has a separate output creating a surround-sound-system from a mono input. The music is called Seven Violas and consists of two open strings bowed on a single instrument played back through and re-recorded by the machine.
